in Apulia pizza standards are very low. Il pizzicotto makes some of the better ones. With one girl you need to be assertive, likes to cut pieces too generous.

Nice resting place while touring Lecce old town.large selection of thin crust pizzas.taste really good. Prices are per kg depending on pizza type. 2 little slice of pizza + 1 coca cola costed 8,10 euros, looked a bit pricey to me but you decide :)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best pizza in Lecce, great quality, fair prices! Il Pizzicotto is hands down the best pizza spot we’ve found in Lecce! We tried a Quattro Formaggi with walnuts and honey, as well as a Diavola – both were absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the ingredients were super fresh and high-quality. The sweet and savory mix of cheese, honey, and walnuts was outstanding, and the Diavola had just the right level of heat. Prices depend on the weight of each slice, typically between €2 and €4, but for this quality, it's totally worth it. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and a great selection of pizza varieties. We’re definitely coming back tomorrow, highly recommended!

Went here twice while staying in Lecce as it was so good. We noticed it was the busiest place around while exploring the area near our apartment with a handful of tables outside. There was a few trays of different pizzas and we chose a few different ones. The focaccia-like base was light and had been well-proved with a variety of good quality toppings both with tomato and non-tomato bases. They also had a range of great craft beers. We dined for just around €16 which is a total bargain. Highly recommend

Amazing street food pizza. Be aware though, there is no indoor seating area, just a few high tables on the street.

Definitely the best pizza I've ever tasted. The tomatoes are utterly delicious! The bread is just right. The ingredients are fresh. The price is insanely cheap! I love everything about it!
